“I am pleased to receive confirmation from Seafish that they are interested in holding a workshop on the Outer Hebrides and that they will undertake some preparatory work to scope out the particular issues facing the seafood sector in the islands.
“There remains a great deal of uncertainty surrounding Brexit and with potential delays at borders, we must ensure that any delays are not caused due to lack of knowledge or paperwork on our part.
“Seafish are keen to engage with seafood businesses and I would encourage this sector to contact them directly – questions can be sent to regulation@seafish.co.uk. Further information can also be found at https://www.seafish.org/article/preparing-your-business-for-eu-exit
