The Ceremony was hosted by the Comhairle’s Accredited Training and Skills Service at the Craigard Hotel Barra on Monday 1st November 2015.
The ceremony was opened by Paul Dundas Head of Service Community Resources Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, who acknowledged the collaborative working between NHS Eileanan Siar, CNES and Lews Castle College UHI. Marion Conway Head of Clinical Governance, Safety, Quality and Risk Management Administration NHS – Eileanan Siar, then gave recognition to the members of staff for their hard work and dedication in achieving their SVQ Awards.
The certificates were presented by Angus Brendan McNeil MP with closing remarks and congratulations to all candidates from the Comhairle’s Paul Dundas.
Congratulations to the staff St Brendan’s Care Home – Mairi Claire Campbell, Lindsay Macintosh, Moira Sinclair and Tresna MacNeil who achieved their SVQ Social Services and Healthcare (Level 2) Award and Home Care Barra – Rhoda MacNeil, Joanne Anderson, Naomi Robarts, Mairi Brown and Gill Russell who achieved their SVQ Social Services and Healthcare (Level 2) Award .
Congratulations to the staff of St Brendan’s Hospital and Barra Community Nursing – Fiona Nicolson, Penny Macleod and Margaret Mary Macleod who achieved their SVQ Social Services and Healthcare (Level 3) Award also Mary Margaret MacDougal who achieved her SVQ Social Services and Healthcare (Level 2) Award.
