Na h-Eileanan an Iar SNP MP Angus MacNeil, has contacted Vodafone regarding difficulties with the mobile signal in parts of Stornoway.

Angus MacNeil said:

“I have been in contact with Vodafone to make them aware of the problem with the signal in Stornoway.

“I know that one of the areas affected by this fault is at the taxi rank in Stornoway, this is creating problems for the taxi drivers and customers and I have made Vodafone aware of this.

“Vodafone have told me that they are currently trying to resolve this matter and I hope that normal service will return soon.”
