Na h-Eileanan an Iar SNP MP, Angus MacNeil, has written to the Transport Minister, Keith Brown MSP, to request an update on the situation surrounding the replacement aircraft for Barra.

 

Angus MacNeil said:

 

“I appreciate the Scottish Government’s commitment to renewing the aircraft on the Barra PSO route.

 

“With the busy tourist season upon us, I have written to the Transport Minister to ask when we can expect the aircraft to be operational.  Given recent demands and the number travelling to Barra, many people are now asking when the new aircraft will arrive.”
