Following a number of breaks in the mobile signal in the Stornoway area, Na H-Eileanan an Iar SNP MP, Angus Brendan MacNeil has contacted Vodafone to insist that the fault be rectified urgently.

Angus MacNeil said:

“Over the past few weeks, the mobile signal in the Stornoway area has been poor with customers either having a patchy signal or no signal at all.  I know that Vodafone were aware of the problem and claim to have resolved the matter.  However, many constituents tell me that this is not the case and that the signal is still unreliable.

“Vodafone customers are fast becoming frustrated with the service they are receiving.  I have contacted Vodafone and asked why the signal in Stornoway is so poor and what they propose to do to restore normal service.”
